Terms of Service

ScanAccess ("we", "the service") is an automated accessibility scanner that runs axe-core 4.11+ against URLs you submit and produces a findings report and, on the Defense and Agency tiers, a legal-defense attestation PDF. By creating an account or using any free-scan endpoint, you agree to these terms.

Automated tools detect approximately 25–57% of accessibility violations. We do NOT guarantee compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 508, EN 301 549, WCAG, or any other accessibility law or standard. The service is one input among several in a comprehensive accessibility program. You must perform manual review, assistive-technology testing, and consult qualified counsel for any legal interpretation of your obligations.

You may submit URLs you own or have written authorisation to scan. You may not use the service to scan websites you do not control. We honour robots.txt by default and crawl at no more than 1 request per second per host.

Subscription pricing and quotas are listed on /pricing. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked, on all paid plans. Cancellations are effected immediately via the Stripe customer portal; service continues until the end of the current billing period unless you request immediate revocation.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can disable auto-renewal at any time in the Stripe customer portal — we do not require contacting support to cancel.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or accessibility-related litigation outcomes.

We may terminate accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or attempt to circumvent quotas. We will refund any prepaid period not yet consumed.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes shall be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
